EVENTS AT ÁRAS INIS GLUAIRE CULTURE NIGHT IN ÁRAS INIS GLUAIRE An Rón Dall/The Blind Seal at Áras Inis Gluaire Áras Inis Gluaire will be the setting for an evening of live music, storytelling and art with a one night only performance of An Rón Dall/The Blind Seal by the multi award winning Fíbín theatre company. A show inspired by a local folk tale, this is a simple story about the fate of a domesticated seal at the home of a local fisherman in Renvyle, Connemara. An effective and evocative blend of live performance and art, An Rón Dall / The Blind Seal has been a huge success on the festival circuit throughout Ireland, North America, Europe and Africa and takes place in the Erris Arts Centre. It has been described by HOT PRESS as a ‘brilliant show’. This visual theatre show recounts a moving, bilingual narrative with a powerful musical score, performed by local musicians. It is a beautiful family show, suitable for all ages. The artist, Dara McGee, whose creation it is, will also have his latest collection of paintings of Connemara landscapes, Saothar Nua, launched on the night.
